AI Tools Demo & Hands-On Lab In-Person

Put AI into practice: this hands-on session, a follow-up to the Generative AI talk, demonstrates a range of AI tools for research, note-taking, and writing assistance. After short demos highlighting capabilities and limitations, attendees get guided time to try tools on their own devices while librarians circulate to answer questions, offer prompt tips, and troubleshoot. Bring a laptop and a project or question you’d like to explore—this practical lab-style workshop is ideal for anyone curious about applying AI tools safely and effectively in their academic work.
