Zines: Risograph Orientation

Zines: Risograph Orientation In-Person

Make a Zine in the Book Arts Studio! Zines are independently produced, self-published work, often in the form of a photocopied, folded, and stapled booklet. In this session, each person is going to make a simple one-page fold zine about a topic that interests them. We will design our prints with pens, markers, etc, then photocopy and print them using the Book Arts Studio's Risograph. Students will leave with a working knowledge of the Risograph and a stack of their own zines.

Please note: This training has a limited number of seats and will prioritize student registration. Interested faculty and staff should not use this form to register, but should email bookarts@richmond.edu to be placed on a waitlist. Faculty interested in learning more about zines or the Risograph for use in classroom instruction should email bookarts@richmond.edu.
