DESCRIPTION:Are you letterpress curious? Join UR Book Arts for a short 
 introduction to the basics of letterpress printing with wood type. In this 
 one-hour orientation\, you’ll learn how to set type\, hand ink\, and 
 print using one of our hand presses. You’ll leave with a set of your own 
 prints and a basic understanding of how letterpress printing works\, which 
 can help you get started on a project during our Open Studio hours. For a 
 full introduction to working with metal type\, wood type\, and printing 
 using our motorized presses\, join us for the full 3-hour Letterpress 
 Orientation offered monthly throughout the semester. This workshop is 
 restricted to currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students.
