Dorm Decor: Risograph Orientation Session In-Person

Risograph printing is best described as a ‘digital screen printing’. Known for its unique colors, visual texture and quirky registration imperfections, Riso is a great method for creating cards, posters, prints, zines and more. Decorate the walls of your dormroom with your own printed designs!

After a basic introduction to the functions of the Riso, students will create their own unique designs for a two-color Riso print. This orientation session will provide an overview of the basic functions of the Risograph process. Upon completing this orientation, students will have access to the Risograph during Book Arts Studio Open Hours.

Please note: This training has a limited number of seat and will prioritize student registration. Interested faculty and staff should not use this form to register, but should email bookarts@richmond.edu to be placed on a waitlist. If there are seats available, you will be contacted a week before the event and invited to register in the order that your email was received. Faculty interested in learning more about the Riso for use in classroom instruction should email bookarts@richmond.edu.
