Poster Printing: Letterpress Orientation In-Person
Join fellow students in the Book Arts Studio to make an awesome collaborative poster! Letterpress printing is a historic relief printing technique used to create books, prints, posters, and more. We're going to learn how to set metal type and explore the basics of setting up and using the Vandercook presses. Together we'll print several copies of our collaborative poster, with each student taking a few with them when they leave.
Please note: This training has a limited number of seats and will prioritize student registration. Interested faculty and staff should not use this form to register, but should email bookarts@richmond.edu to be placed on a waitlist. Faculty interested in learning more about the Vandercook presses for use in classroom instruction should email bookarts@richmond.edu.
