Letterpress Orientation In-Person
Letterpress printing is a relief printing technique used to create books, prints, posters, and more. In this workshop, we will start with a tour of the studio, set metal type, and print using the Vandercook printing presses. This orientation session will put emphasis on good technique and safe practices, so that participants can build on the skills they gain.
No prior experience is necessary and all materials will be provided by the Book Arts Studio. This workshop is intended for currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students only. Space is limited to 12 students and registration is required.
