Letterpress Orientation: Poster Printing In-Person
Letterpress printing is a relief printing technique used to create books, prints, posters, and more. In this workshop, we will explore the studio and learn basic Letterpress techniques and how to safely use the Vandercook printing presses. You will make your own unique Letterpress poster, coming away with a few copies of your design.
No prior experience is necessary and all materials will be provided by the Book Arts Studio. This workshop is intended for currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students only. Space is limited to 12 students and registration is required.

Caitlin Adair Daglis serves as the Book Arts Studio Manager in the Boatwright Memorial Library at the University of Richmond. In this role she maintains equipment and machinery, manages the studio's team of student workers, manages the Book Arts Studio Open Hours and Equipment Orientations, and more. Caitlin has an MFA in Studio Art from the University of Georgia and a BFA in Studio Art from Georgia Southwestern State University.
